In his recent Cairo speech, the president said it would be a goal of his to change the tax code to allow Muslims to tithe their necessary money to Islam. How is this possible? How can the tax code be changed to target a group of people and not others. Wouldn’t all charities love for the tax code to be changed so that Americans can write off more of their donations? So are we being led to believe that giving money to Islam is more important say than giving money to cancer research, saving animals, muscular dystrophy, and all the millions of other charities in existance? How is this not also somehow a violation of church and state? I mean, here we have the government helping out a religious organization by changing the tax code.
While I am on the subject of Islam, since when did Islam become the downtrodden? Islam has provoked fighting and wars for years and years. Now suddenly they are the misunderstood, they are the peace loving community that the world just dumps on. Come on. Why doesn’t the president just come out and say that he is a Muslim and be done with it. Yes, that is right, he fooled you again.
