It is apparent to me that the McCain camp just does not get it. Sarah Palin was the best thing that happened to their campaign. She was refreshing, exciting, invigorating, honest and forthright. McCain was the one the people did not want. He was dull, boring, said “my friend” way too many times, never could muster the strength and fortitude he supposedly possesses to rally the people. His fixation on pork barrel spending was absurd to the point of lunacy. Yes, there is pork barrel spending. Yes, pork barrel spending is bad. But, it was certainly not what the people were wanting to hear about.
I am going on record once and for all as saying McCain was the problem with the McCain campaign, not Sarah Palin. She was the one the other side was attacking, because they were afraid of her and her popularity. McCain could hardly get anyone to his rallies before she came along. The McCain campaign was run like doggie doodoo. Mitt Romney would have been a better choice than McCain. Heck, lots of people would have been a better choice. I would have preferred to have Sarah Palin at the top of the ticket and McCain the second banana.
She is the one who runs a state that actually pays back the constituents instead of looking for more ways to tax them. She truly cares about her state and her country, not her agenda. She is the true Washington outsider, not insider, who could really run this country properly. McCain and Obama, both senators, both having never run anything were the least qualified.
People may not agree with everything Sarah stands for, but they cannot dispute that she stands behind her convictions, she does not lie, she is part of a loving family that are proud true Americans. This is so ridiculous. The McCain campaign needs to take a hike. They ran the most ineffective campaign I have seen since Bob Dole. Perhaps because their candidate was as boring as Bob Dole. McCain couldn’t get tough if his life depended on it. You cannot run a nicey nice campaign. You have to be tough, aggressive. People want to see the leadership qualities. Sarah has them. McCain does not. End of story!
