Obama ran as a centrist. Those who watch Fox News knew the truth. We knew he was really extremely on the left. But, he managed to fool a lot of people and ended up getting elected. The problem is that most of the country is in the middle, while in the middle we lean to the left and right, only the minority is truly extremely on the left or right. Those who are extremely on the left and right will never get it.
Proof of this is the current health care debate, for lack of a better word. Truly you cannot have a debate if one side will not produce an argument, which is what we are getting from the administration. They are not being transparent. They are not forthcoming with the hidden agenda in this plan. America no longer trusts the government, if it ever did, and the now actually fears what will come next. We have been lied to and railroaded so much over the last six months, we are numb.
It is time for those on the extreme left to stop lying. Stop name calling. Stop putting down honest, hard working Americans. People are angry. They are not angry because Obama is black. They are angry because Obama is an extreme liberal and they were fooled. They are angry because they were promised transparency and instead they get townhall meetings with pre-seleted questions and pre-determined answers. They are angry because the media continues to be in the tank for the administration instead of revealing the truth, digging for the truth, questioning the government as they should, and being honest and forthright with the people. They are angry because this administration is spending faster than it can be printed, selling our country off to China and other foreign countries, cramming things down our throats without so much as a how do you do. They are angry because when they voice their concerns and opinions they are being called “stupid, nazi’s, racists, liers, KKK,” and more. What right does any elected official have to call those who elect them names?
If Americans do not take this anger to the polls in November of 2012 and remember those who put them down and ignored their feelings, opinions, questions, ideas, then all hope will be lost. This country cannot run well with one side holding all the power, whether that side be the right or the left. Cooler heads are needed. Pelosi, Reid, all those who have mocked, made fun of, called stupid, etc., need to go and in November of 2012 we can really make our voices be heard with our vote.
I am predicting now that next year will see illegal immigrants become American citizens even though they broke the law. I am predicting groups such as Acorn will rise with even more power and corruption than they possess right now. I am predicting more job loss, more crime, more homes lost to foreclosure. Prove my predictions wrong and vote these people out of office once and for all. Insist that those we elect to represent us truly do represent us and not themselves and their own special interests. Believe me, this is not the change you thought you were going to get!
