It seems to me that the promise of working with both major parties in Washington and coming to bipartisan agreements is a promise no one in Washington has any intention of keeping. It also seems that the promise of not taxing the death out of middle America is a promise no one in Washington has any intention of keeping.
While Obama seems intent on getting a health bill passed, his completely reckless disregard for how this is achieved is going to cost Americans billions. At stake is your health care. Be prepared to kiss it good-bye. No one in Washington reads a bill, they just go ahead and sign it. The Democrats in the senate agreed to a plan, but no plan is forthcoming, just an idea of a plan. A plan without details.
Obama thinks that his promise to improve health care is the all important thing here. Well, not exactly. He certainly is not set about to improve health care in this country, just CHANGE it. Touting that he is bringing about the change America has sought, he is negligent in realizing America does not want or need BAD CHANGE. No one wants change for changes sake. They really want improvements, not change!
Between so called health care reform, cap and trade (tax), and let’s not forget to mention the lobbyists that he promised would not rule Washington, the same who are set to not only rule Washington with cap and trade, but make a killing in the process, America has made the worst mistake in its history. Obama will go down in history as the worst president we have ever had. He is off to a good start.
