To save a 2 inch minnow, the administration is starving California farmers of water. It has turned off the water pumps and is drying out millions of acres of rich farmland to save a minnow. Who cares that the people are suffering immensely. Suddenly in this season of “change,” people are not as important as fish. Is this just about the most absurd thing you have ever heard? Spotted owls, minnows, what next? California farmers put food on the table of millions of Americans. This has got to stop! The administration needs to turn those pumps back on and they need to do it now!
Perhaps they don’t realize that they are losing a large tax base because if the farmers cannot grow food, then they can’t pay taxes. How amazing that the White House has a nifty little garden. I guess if the minnow lived in Washington it would not be a problem. You cannot take not only jobs, but the complete livelihood of people away over a fish! This is nuts! There should be outrage. There might be outrage if anyone other than Sean Hannity were reporting on the story. Where is MSNBC, where is 60 minutes, where is the New York Times? Apparently, farmers being starved of water to grow their plants is not a big deal. Well, when they are eating that food grown in China, employing more Chinese people, a country where the standards are lax, then people start to get sick from the produce, more people need unemployment and welfare here because there are no jobs, perhaps then it will become a big deal.
