It is my understanding that the energy proposals of Washington will cost the average person $3000 a year. It is also my understanding that the new emission standards are going to cost the average person $1300 a year. With millions and millions of Americans living paycheck to paycheck, how does the administration conclude that the average American will be able to absorb these costs? With so many people focusing on income taxes not being raised, it seems Washington is sneaking in the back door and taking our hard-earned money anyway. And who is exempt from these costs? More than likely low income families. So, again middle America is going to foot the bill. Rich Americans can pay these extra costs without blinking an eye. But middle America will get the brunt of the added costs, as it usually does. This is the reason middle America is shrinking at such a rapid rate. Soon there will no longer be a middle America. There will be the rich, which conveniently includes those working in Washington, the president, vice president, congress, and then there will be the rest of us who are working hard to make them richer, and help out the lower income families of which we will now be one ourselves. We have been lied to on a grand scale. These are not your usual campaign bogus promises. This is the selling out of America. I am already hoping for an impeachment, but I am not holding my breath as America is in such denial right now it is painful.
