Citi received the latest in government bailouts, which sent the DOW plus 300 today. The government will give Citi 20 billion dollars and absorb 90% of the risky assets in its books. Am I the only one who feels that these companies should reap certain penalties for all of these bailouts? They have all of these risky loans because they were greedy. They did not have to go that route; they just made more because of it. I am sick of the “we have to save them or it will be catastrophic.” Who is saving all of us? Who is helping us pay our mortgages or our bills? I am so sick of these bailouts.
